Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about how we work. Service-specific questions live on each service page — and anything not covered here is a phone call away.

What services does Mesas Build Co. provide?

We provide general contracting, residential construction and remodeling, commercial construction and improvements, HVAC services and coordination, concrete work, granite and countertop installation, and interior and exterior painting across Dallas–Fort Worth. Many projects combine several of these under one coordinated scope.

Where does Mesas Build Co. work?

We're based in DFW and work throughout the metroplex and North Texas, serve the Houston area, and take on select projects across Texas. If you're unsure whether your location is covered, send the project details through the quote form and we'll give you a straight answer.

Do you take on both residential and commercial projects?

Yes. We serve homeowners, property owners, investors and commercial clients. The same disciplined process applies to both — scope first, then price, then schedule — adapted to how each property operates.

How do I get a price for my project?

Start with the Request a Proposal form or call us. We review the inquiry, schedule a site visit where appropriate, develop a written scope, and price that scope. You'll always know what a number includes before you're asked to commit to it.

What happens after I submit a project inquiry?

We review every inquiry and follow up to discuss scope, timing and next steps. If the project isn't a fit for our team, we'll tell you that directly rather than leave you waiting.

Do you provide written proposals?

Always. Proposals are written against a defined scope, with inclusions, exclusions and allowances spelled out. Changes during the project are documented and priced before work proceeds.

Can you coordinate multiple trades on one project?

That's the core of what we do. One point of contact owns the schedule, the sequencing and the communication across trades — so you're not refereeing between subcontractors.

Will my home or business need to close during the work?

Usually not. Occupied-property planning — containment, work hours, phasing, protection — is part of scope development. We'll tell you honestly if any phase is better handled with the space empty.

Are you insured, and are your trades licensed?

Mesas Build Co. carries full insurance, and the trade partners we bring onto a project hold the licenses their scope requires — electrical, mechanical, plumbing and so on. Insurance certificates and the relevant trade licensing for your specific project are provided during the proposal process; we'd rather show you the documents than just say the words.

How far out are you scheduling?

Lead times vary with season and project size. When we review your inquiry we'll give you a current, realistic picture — including material lead times that may matter more than our calendar.
