Granite & Countertop Installation in DFW
Countertops are where a kitchen or bath project becomes visible. Mesas Build Co. manages the full sequence — material selection, field measurement, templating, fabrication coordination and installation — so the stone fits the cabinets, the sink and the way you use the space.

Planning
Worth deciding early
- Granite and quartz behave differently — heat, maintenance, pattern consistency — and the right answer depends on how you cook and live.
- Templating happens after cabinets are installed and level; rushing this step is how gaps happen.
- Seam placement and vein matching should be reviewed before fabrication, not discovered at install.
- Sink style (undermount, farmhouse, drop-in) must be confirmed before cutouts are cut.
- Existing cabinets may need reinforcement or leveling before heavy stone goes on.
Our process on this work
When countertops are part of a remodel, we sequence them with cabinet installation and plumbing so templating happens at the right moment. As a standalone replacement, we review your existing cabinetry, guide material selection and manage the template-fabricate-install sequence.

Questions
Granite & Countertops FAQs
Countertop projects are available throughout Dallas–Fort Worth, standalone or as part of kitchen and bath remodels.
Granite or quartz — which should I choose?
Granite is natural stone: unique patterns, strong heat tolerance, periodic sealing. Quartz is engineered: consistent patterning and low maintenance, but less heat-tolerant. We walk through how you actually use the space before recommending either.
How long between templating and installation?
Fabrication time varies by material and fabricator queue. Your proposal includes the expected window for your specific selection, and we schedule plumbing reconnection to follow installation promptly.
Can you replace countertops without replacing cabinets?
Usually, yes. We evaluate the cabinets' condition and level first, since stone demands a stable, flat base — minor corrections are common and worth doing.
