Service

Roofing Contractor in Dallas–Fort Worth

A roof is the one assembly on a building where a small mistake becomes an interior problem. Mesas Build Co. handles roof replacement, repair and new-construction roofing across North Texas — decking, dry-in, underlayment, flashing and finished surface — and coordinates it with framing, gutters and exterior finishes so the envelope is closed in the right order.

Planning

Worth deciding early

  • North Texas hail and wind exposure drive material and fastening choices more than price does.
  • Dry-in timing controls when interior trades can safely start — it belongs on the schedule, not in the weather forecast.
  • Penetrations added later by mechanical or electrical trades need to be flashed by someone who owns the roof.
  • Attic ventilation affects both roof life and cooling load; it is decided with the roof, not after.

Our process on this work

Roof scopes are written with the deck condition called out as an allowance where it cannot be seen until tear-off, so a surprise underneath is a documented, priced change rather than an argument on the day.

Roofing FAQs

Roofing is available across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and North Texas, for homeowners, property owners and commercial clients.

Our DFW coverage →

Do you handle insurance claims for storm damage?

We document conditions thoroughly and provide the scope and photographs your adjuster will ask for. We do not negotiate claims on your behalf — that relationship stays between you and your carrier.

Can you roof a building we are still living in or operating?

Yes. Roofing is disruptive but short. We sequence tear-off and dry-in so no section is left open overnight, and protect landscaping, drives and interiors before work starts.

How long does a typical replacement take?

Most residential replacements are a small number of days once material is on site. Deck repairs found at tear-off are the usual reason a schedule moves, which is why they are priced as an allowance up front.
